How Paint by Numbers colors work

Your photo can contain thousands of tiny shades. A Paint by Numbers kit uses a limited set of real paint colors, so every shade is matched as closely as possible with the selected palette.

Backgrounds, skin tones, pets, clothing and shadows may look slightly simplified because not every exact blue, green, brown or shadow color exists as a separate paint pot.

Custom sizes must be at least 30x40 cm (12x16 in). Smaller sizes do not give a sharp Paint By Numbers result. We'll check your image and recommend the best fit in your preview.
